PTC (Moore College)

The Preliminary Theological Certificate (PTC) is an affordable unaccredited course that will help you grow in your knowledge of God’s Word. It aims to give students a solid introduction to the biblical, theological and historical foundations of the Christian faith. Read more here.

Study Groups at Church

We recommend you (1) buy a book, (2) dedicate approximately 5 hours a week for reading and reflecting at your own pace, (3) join our Study Groups that meet on Sundays 11:15-12:15pm each fortnight during School term times.

Study Group Commitment

  • Individual Study: Read 2 chapters each fortnight.

  • Group learning: We’ll share what we’ve been learning from the 2 chapters at tables, then a leader will summarise the main ideas, and then we’ll do a learning activity together.

  • Intro to the Bible (BT1) - Men’s Study Group led by Brendan Nelson

  • Pentateuch (OT1) - Men’s Study Group led by James Warren

  • Intro to the Bible (BT1) - Women’s Study Group led by Gloria Nelson

  • Promise to Fulfilment (BT2) - Women’s Study Group led by Chantelle Orr, Karen Street, Shaz Cutmore & Di Warren. This group uses the format “What have you learnt? What questions do you have?”
